ok, you need to convert the vid. to a mp4 format. then go to the folder wher the vid is stored and drap and drop in the movies category in the itunes library.

iPod only supports videos in mp4, H2.64 video format. If not, you may try some third party software. There are some free video converters for iPod, such as Videora, SUPER. They are free, but always do the work without the good performce. Nowadays, there are so many similar not free ipod converteres in the market. You should try your best to choose the best one.
